Theoretical and practical training for trades and engineering roles — at APEC Training Center, the training centre of the FSSA Group: more than 100 courses and 7 international accreditations. Occupational health and industrial safety training, professional training and retraining, and accredited programmes tailored to the requirements of oil-and-gas project operators and contractors.
The training is built into FSSA's personnel mobilisation: a specialist completes the training and arrives on site with a ready package of certificates and permits.

International accreditations
APEC Training Center is the FSSA group's training centre in western Kazakhstan: more than 100 courses and 7 international accreditations for specialists in the oil-and-gas, mining and construction industries. The catalogue ranges from occupational safety and trades to project management and industrial rope access. The group's history includes ECITB and NCCER accreditations, membership of the international organisation IWCF and the launch of its own 1,000 m² training centre in 2020; in total, the group has trained and certified more than 10,000 specialists.
How training works
- Requirements analysis. We establish which certificates and permits specialists need to work at a specific site.
- Programme. We select courses from the catalogue or design a corporate programme for the client's objectives.
- Theory and practice. Each course combines a theoretical part and practical sessions.
- Assessment. Trainees have their knowledge and skills tested.
- Certificates and permits. The specialist receives the documents needed to go to site.
Training as part of mobilisation
Training is built into personnel mobilisation: a specialist recruited by FSSA completes training at APEC Training Center and goes to site with a ready set of certificates and permits. The client does not need to look for a separate training centre or coordinate schedules — training is planned together with the arrival dates.
