Senior Lifting Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise lifting operations on site, including heavy and critical lifts.

• Prepare lifting plans for critical and heavy lifting operations when required.

• Review all lifting operation plans, identify gaps, and provide support to ensure compliance with site requirements.

• Assess lifting operations by:

  • Ensuring lifting plans and procedures are properly implemented.

  • Identifying training and competency requirements for COMPANY personnel.

• Mentor and train COMPANY personnel in accordance with international standards (e.g. OPITO, LOLER, LEEA, BS, NSL).

• Promote lifting awareness across all sites and among all personnel.

• Enhance safety culture within the COMPANY through engagement and intervention.

• Develop and maintain a database of lifting and rigging equipment in cooperation with COMPANY personnel.

• Prepare and issue daily and weekly activity reports, as well as lifting operations performance reports against agreed KPIs.

• Supervise and manage the activities and responsibilities of Lifting Specialists at KPO sites.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Senior Lifting Engineer.

• Higher technical education (engineering degree).

• Valid certification (LOLER, OPITO Lifting Operations, LEEA, or equivalent).

• Confident PC user.

• Fluent English (spoken and written).
