HR in the current time mode

On Friday, June 17, an HR forum on the topic "HR in the current time mode" was held in the Atyrau business park.

The forum was attended by representatives of such large companies as TCO, NCOC, Total E&P Dunga GmbH, Chevron, FSSA, Fluor, Ernst&Young, andChange, Beeline, APEC Training Center, GATE, Intra Service, Severn Valve, CCEP, KZF Service, KMG Automation, KPI, Sitek Caspian and many others. The forum was moderated by Petrocouncil Chairman Asylbek Dzhakiev.

The forum discussed topical topics in the field of HR such as: Hybrid work system, change management and the role of strategy in a rapidly changing business environment, change management in a new reality: models, tools, competencies, etc.

The forum was aimed at HR managers of enterprises, top managers of medium and large industrial enterprises, for anyone interested in methods of improvement in the organization of human resource management.

New hybrid work format

After the pandemic, many companies started optimizing business processes in order to improve the efficiency of remote work. One of the companies that has successfully implemented such a system is NCOC. NCOC has developed a “Hybrid Mode of Operation” (GRR). This mode of work provides for a number of changes in the organization of work of office employees, which allowed to reduce the time spent in the office by allocating time mainly “from home” as there is no need for an employee in the office.

Head of NCOC Personnel Administration Department - Raushan Kuzhagalieva shared her experience of how the Hybrid mode of operation was introduced.

Since last year, the top management has been making a lot of efforts to evaluate the most acceptable mode of operation in NCOC.

low staff turnover; the possibility of optimizing office space.

How to retain a valuable employee and what is Talent Management and the Workday platform

According to McKinsey research, the main reason for employees leaving the company in the period before and after the pandemic is the lack of personal and professional development of employees. The main task that companies face is the retention of valuable personnel and the constant development of their competence and skills.

During the forum Head of the TCO Personnel Reserve Management Group - Symbat Irgebayev shared with the strategy of TCO companies. This is an investment in people for the development and empowerment of highly qualified employees who will improve the achievement of TCO results. He also noted that as part of the development of human capital and optimization of business processes, the Workday platform was developed and implemented, which combines several systems at once, such as talent management and HCM system. The main advantages of the Workday platform: A SINGLE PLATFORM that provides convenient management of HR business processes.

During the forum, the representative of TCO emphasized the "We Lead" competence model, which defines the key expectations of employees at all levels of the company regarding leadership. “At TCO, we believe that everyone is a Leader, regardless of their role in the organization,” noted Symbat Irgebayev.

Data visualization tools for making effective management decisions

Data visualization is a graphical representation of data that ensures effective human work on their study. 90% of the information entering the brain is images. However, the basis of effective data visualization is the correct choice of the graphical representation that is most suitable for the type of data and their purpose.

Barrier according to the ADKAR model Definition: The first of the 5 elements of ADKAR, which is not sufficiently developed, slows down the change. The barrier tells us what we need to pay attention to in order to move forward. If we pay attention to the wrong element of ADKAR, it can lead to a loss of motivation among employees and a decrease in the effectiveness of the project.

Let the robots do the work not for you, but for you!

How to redistribute more than 250 employees to other functions while increasing the efficiency of business processes without losing these personnel. This thesis was made by ProfDev manager of Beeline - Firuza Kadirgalieva . She spoke about the transformation of personnel in connection with the automation of their functions with the help of RPA robots. Thanks to the extensive experience of more than 4 years with the Lean environment, a marathon program was developed to develop RPA algorithms for obtaining highly qualified employees.

Firuza shared her experience where 250 RPA robots were analyzed in Beeline during the launch of the RPA marathon, 202 of them were developed. One of the important advantages of such robots is the automation of routine business processes. According to the developed robots, Beeline has already had a good success , according to which the following facts could be noted:

- conversion has been improved to 56%

- the ratio of closed vacancies increased to 20%

- the average time to complete a business process has been reduced from 16 hours to 1 minute

The forum ended with a coffee break, where participants had the opportunity to discuss the topics they listened to and get answers to their questions.
