Superior technical competency (several countries international technical and leadership experience, preferably in IOCs, if not in oilfield services companies)

Russian language fluency (it’s a must for all technical but “nice” to have for executive)

English language fluency

Candidates are preferred from exploration companies

Hands-on technical leadership experience in modern exploration organizations, re-organizations of old, ineffective organizations into best-in-class exploration teams

Extensive experience working with best-in-class exploration portfolio assessment methodologies

10+ years of exploration specific hands-on experience

Experience with digital tools / machine learning / AI in exploration techniques, seismic and well log interpretations (“nice to have”)

Experience with developing codes and algorithms, and working on supercomputers for exploration (“nice to have”)
